Our main focus is on corporate law.
Corporate Law
We support you from incorporation, restructurings (spin-offs, hive-downs, mergers) to exit or liquidation. We also advise on ongoing measures — amendments to articles and shareholders' agreements through to notarial implementation — and on (contested) shareholder meetings.
Mergers & Acquisitions
We provide tailored advice on transactions for both buyers and sellers and stay by your side throughout the entire process — from LoI to closing. We act for private buyers and sellers as well as private equity funds, including due diligence, joint ventures, management buy-outs and buy-ins.
Transaction management
Together with our cooperation partners we cover all related practice areas, including tax and commercial law. You have one point of contact from start to closing.
Business & asset succession
We advise entrepreneurs and private individuals on transferring business assets and shareholdings, working closely with tax advisors along the way. We accompany both family-internal and external succession — for a smooth handover and the continuation of the business.
Shareholder disputes
Whether it’s advice on (looming) disputes among shareholders or between family branches, post-M&A disputes, or enforcing claims in court — we pursue your rights out of court and, when necessary, in court or in arbitration.

- Mergers & acquisitions: structuring, legal due diligence and negotiation in acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures.
- Venture capital & private equity: support for founders and investors, from seed financing to exit.
- Corporate & asset deals: complex real estate transactions and strategic acquisitions in the industrial Mittelstand.

- 2007–2010 · Ashurst LLP, Munich — associate. M&A and private equity transactions.
- 2010–2013 · Taylor Wessing, Berlin — senior associate. Corporate law, technology and real estate transactions.
- 2013–2024 · partner at Berlin commercial law firms, including firms he founded himself and corporate practices he built up.

What sets him apart is the combination of transactional advice (M&A / corporate) with contentious experience: knowing where contracts fail in practice changes how they are drafted. Should a dispute arise nonetheless, he conducts the proceedings himself, before state courts and arbitral tribunals alike. He speaks the language of founders, family offices and established mid-sized companies alike.
